White House aides told jewish leaders on a conference call today that the United States will boycott the United Nations’ World Conference on Racism over hostility to Israel in draft documents prepared for the April conference.

I think most liberals like most conservatives may not be categorized as a single group;
And that in such a large organization as either there are almost by Definition at least two who will believe in almost anything, including that the X-files were all true.

Regardless of the accuracy of the blog linked, I think failure to participate is an error.
Taking your ball and going home is never a good idea if you expect to gain an understanding of another view. The Arab/Muslim world appears to have legitimate criticisms of Israel. Refusing to listen is hardly the answer.

I consider myself left of center,and I don’t like our unconditional support of Israel. No I am not anti Semitic. I just don’t see any good for the US to unconditionally support any country,especially the little speck on the map of Israel which has been a thorn in the side of the West since its inception.Just another country trying to excercise a historical claim. Hell ,if we honored historical claims , we would have to give the US back to the Native Americans
In fact the Palestinians actually have an older claim, as Moses and company took it from them . Palestine is the modern form of the name "Philistine" in the Bible.
