My question in no way was ment to be, in any way again, offensive. I was clearing wondering the very possibility of him being Jewish. Why do I care? I love my fellow Jewish brothers and sisters, I however am a Christian, I may not be Jewish but I do however consider each person to be an equal of myself. Hitler may have been the leader in charge, but it wasn’t Hitler who committed the vast majority of atrocities. It was the common, mainstream German, Austrian, Pole, etc. and those who stood by in silence while those atrocities were being committed. Why does no one ever asks about *their* religion. What religion were the perpetrators? How can it be possible that so many people of *any* religion would commit those atrocities and/or stand by in silence while they were committed?

The identity of his paternal grandfather is unknown. Adolf was enough worried that he had the Jewishness laws specifically exclude himself (and Jesus).
But no, Hitler was not Jewish, he was Christian. I mean, he had a special exception for Jesus’ Jewishness written into his bigot laws.
