@svaroglo82 I … @svaroglo82 I listened to Bajramovic’s “Djelem Djelem”, it is very nice, thanks for introducing him to me. I don’t reckon Bregovic is idiot, he has done a lot to introduce gypsy music to the world, furthermore, I like his music.
This is a slap for … This is a slap for general musical culture, the clash between this two groups is incredible (though its taken with humor) and the way they resolution to themselves both, with voice and with instruments, is just marvelous. You can clearly hear the double bass and the trombone fighting, as well as the other instruments. Im from Mexico and my musical go is FAR from this, but this blew my mind, and im really considering to get some of this marvelous rythms.
@solkahns–The … @solkahns–The music predates Bregovic by quite a few decades. He may play some of it, but it most emphatically does not belong to him. The opening music is an example of an ancient style called fusul in Romanian (named after the use of the single hair tied to a string). The next is a composed Yiddish theater piece from the early 20th century.

It seems to be a amusing movie, furthermore I like both Gypsy and Jewish music, I’ll watch it for sure. And having googled a second ago, I learned the musics belong to Bregovic, I mean, he is the man!
