@Dynaverse But Moses spoke of a Prophet God would send who would be like Moses. Jesus is not like Moses- first of all- he is not a prophet (unlike Moses and Muhammad) he is God (or so Christian’s believe) and he had a virgin birth (unlike Moses and Muhammad) and did not have a normal death (unlike Moses and Muhammad)– I could go on. Also as a Muslim I believe the original Torah and Bible were the word of God- but they were unfortunately changed by man–the Quran is the unchanged word of God.

@novamongoose Honestly, by not believing in the Holy Trinity you are factually the closest in belief to the Islamic religion. I’m just saying, keep an open mind- and if you are so sure of your belief- why not test it by learning about Islam?

@novamongoose he never claimed to be the greatest -in fact the Quran says that the prophets are all equal in God’s eyes. In terms of everything else you are saying, I just want to say that please atleast try to legitimately learn about the religion, read the Quran and Islam’s history. If then you point out to despise on my religion I won’t hold it against you. Though, I have generally found that people who spread despise on Islam seem to feel threatened by it- but never give it a honest chance.

@novamongoose Also, in Genesis Moses spoke of a prophet to be sent by God from among the Israelite’s “brethren” who would be a lot like Moses. Now, Christian’s like to reckon this is talking about Jesus, though the similarity between Muhammad and Moses is greater (especially since Jesus is “supposed” to be God not a prophet)

@novamongoose Um really no- let me clarify. In Genesis God promises to bless the nations through the descendents of Abraham. He speaks of this promise before the birth of Abraham’s son Ishmael and also after the birth of Ishmael/ before birth of Isaac. The lineage of Isaac results in a whole line of Israelite Prophets (which Muslims accept), though Ishmael’s descendents give rise to one last prophet – Muhammad (PBUH).
