All of the previously mentioned world religions & religious cults are examined in contrast to historic, Biblical Christianity according to the following “Elements of Faith”: Nature of the “Supreme Being,” Key Figures in History, Person of Jesus Christ, Work of Jesus Christ, Sources of Authority, Doctrine of Humanity, The Basic Human Problem, The Solution to the Basic Human Problem, Ethics (Value System), & Concept of Life After Death. By this simple analysis we can arrive at a conclusion on whether these religions & cults are compatible with historic, Biblical Christianity or are rather an anti-Christ challenge to it. The apostle Paul said in Galatians 1:6-9: “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another Gospel: which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, & would pervert the Gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other Gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other Gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be ACCURSED.” Based on this text it is easy to see that any religion that differs from the Biblical Gospel is going to come under God’s curse & their followers will be damned to etenal punishment in the lake of fire (2 Thessalonians 1:6-10, 2:9-12, Ezekiel 14:9-11, Matthew 26:46, Revelation 19:20, 20:10,14-15, Matthew 5:22, 7:13-23,10:15, Galatians 5:19-21, & many others).

True Christians should know what they believe & why they believe it. 2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (cf 1 Corinthians 14:8). Jude 3 says, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, & exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” (cf Philippians 1:7,17). Thus knowing sound Biblical doctrine in relation to Gospel teaching is essential: “If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith & of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained … Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine …Take heed unto thyself, & unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, & them that hear thee.” (1 Timothy 4:6, 13,16).
